Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada with 22-years industry experience, working with hundreds of clients worldwide.
Shane has worked with: Ad Agencies, Broadcast TV, Game Development Companies, IT, Software Developers, Entertainment Industry and more.
After graduating from the Art Institute of Vancouver (formerly CDIS in Burnaby, BC) in 2000, I started my career as an Interactive Designer for web and IT companies in Vancouver at the tail end of the dot-com boom.
A few years later I worked on the TV show Stargate Atlantis/SG1 as a Motion Graphic Artist, following that I worked at a number of agencies, developing brands and playing the Art Director/Designer role. I then decided to do my own thing and managed my own pool of clients, including design and branding for Sabra, Sydney Crosby, YTV, Circle K (Macs Convenience) and many more. Following this, from 2009-2016 I operated my own game development company where I created a number of kid’s educational games for mobile, tablet and PC.
In 2017 I went back to design and art direction and helped a few companies in Halifax with their challenges in ecommerce development, UI/UX and product design.
Most recently I work with local brands like Totally Raw Pet Food, a popular raw dog food company on the east coast. With Totally Raw I’m taking the helm on all their branding, UI/UX, product design and ecommerce website design.
